One out of five people in the United States is disabled in some way. How can we hold to a standard of beauty that negates these individuals? Beauty isn't just inward or in the eye of the beholder, it is everywhere, and in everything. Makeup, to me, enhances your own beauty and/or masculinity and is not to make you into something you are not. Be authentic, be beautiful.

It was a low day when I found out that my dad had bone cancer. Tempted beyond my strength, I caved to the desperation of the moment. My dad; so beautiful, so loving. As I reflected on our relationship, a blue bird pooped and missed me by about an inch (I was sitting outside.) Then it screamed at me, as if to say, "Wake up!
